A very busy and important year for Cricket around the world. After the very exciting series in South Africa England go to Bangladesh and on to the West Indies for the World Twenty20 tournament. England then play 5 one-day Internationals against Australia followed by both a one-day and test match series against Bangladesh and Pakistan. Pakistan also play2 test matches against Australia in England—a very interesting and busy cricketing summer.

November sees the start of the Ashes series in Australia when again England will be defending the trophy they won in 2009.
